Senior high schools receive e-textbooks, DCP packages

Three senior high schools in Dilasag District received another batch of DepEd’s Computerization Program (DCP) 2020 last December 14-15.

 

The latest package includes 50 units of Acer One 10 D7 2-in-1 Detachable Tablet, 1 unit Acer Travelmate P214-52 Laptop, 1 TP Link Archer C9 AC1900 Wireless Router, and 2 Viewtech V-Cart-PDU26 charging Carts.

 

Upon delivery and installation, teachers, including the schools’ designated ICT Coordinator, were given crash course on the utilization of the computers.

 

The DepEd Computerization Program (DCP) aims to provide public schools with appropriate technologies that would enhance the teaching-learning process and meet the challenges of the 21st century.

 

“We are very thankful to the department for providing computer packages to our students. Though it is sad that our students are not in the schools to use them during this time of pandemic, we will find ways on how the students will be able to enjoy of the computers

while they are learning at home,” Reden Valdez, ICT Coordinator, stated.

 

Among the recepients are Diagyan National High School, Manggitahan National High School, and Dilasag National High School.
