Invitation to Bid for <\/strong>Construction of One Story One Classroom School Building (7m x 9m) \u2013 Kabanuangan Elementary School<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. The Department of Education Bids and Awards Committee<\/em>, through the Savings from QRF 2022 with SARO No. OSEC-3-23-0045<\/em> dated January 30, 2023 intends to apply the sum of Two Million Ninety-Five Thousand Eight Hundred Nine Pesos & 49\/100 Only <\/em>(P2,095,809.49)<\/em> being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contract for Construction of One Story One Classroom School Building (7m x 9m) \u2013 Kabanuangan Elementary School and Project Identification Number 2023-05-175<\/em>. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

      \n
    1. The Department of Education Bids and Awards Committee <\/em>now invites bids for the above Procurement Project. Completion of the Works is required within 60 days<\/em>.\u00a0 Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the Project.\u00a0 The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

       <\/p>\n

      1. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary \u201cpass\/fail<\/em>\u201d criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

         <\/p>\n

        1. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Department of Education Bids and Awards Committee <\/em>and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

           <\/p>\n

          1. For those who are interested to purchase Bidding Documents, two (2) options are made available, to wit:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders during office hours starting May 31, 2023 <\/strong>until the deadline of submission of bids on June 20, 2023<\/strong> from the Department of Education, Schools Division of Aurora, Bids and Awards Committee<\/em> Secretariat, upon accomplishing a bidder\u2019s Information sheet (see attached) and payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents to the DepEd Cashier.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

Interested Bidders may signify their intent to purchase the Bidding Documents through email depedaurora@deped.gov.ph<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by accomplishing a bidder\u2019s information sheet (Annex A). Upon receipt of the bidder\u2019s information sheet, the BAC Secretariat will send through email the details of the DepEd Aurora Trust Fund Account (DepEd Aurora Trust Account Number 1062-1013-57) for payment. Upon payment, bidders must send through email the proof of payment before the deadline for the submission of bids. Upon receipt of proof of payment, the BAC Secretariat will send the electronic copy of the bidding documents.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                Payment in checks should be made payable to DepED Aurora Trust Fund.<\/p>\n

                  \n
                1. The Department of Education Bids and Awards Committee <\/em>will hold a Pre-Bid Conference[1]<\/sup><\/a> on June 8, 2023 @9:00am <\/em>at BAC Office<\/em> and\/or through videoconferencing\/webcasting via google meet, <\/em>which shall be open to prospective bidders.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                   <\/p>\n

                    \n
                  1. Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat through manual submission at the office address as indicated below, on or before June 20, 2023 @9:00am. <\/em>Late bids shall not be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                     <\/p>\n

                      \n
                    1. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB<\/strong> Clause 16.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                       <\/p>\n

                        \n
                      1. Bid opening shall be on June 20, 2023 @ 9:30am<\/em> at BAC Office. <\/em>Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders\u2019 representatives who choose to attend the activity.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                         <\/p>\n

                          \n
                        1. For the purpose of constituting a quorum, both the physical and virtual presence of the BAC and TWG members shall be considered pursuant to GPPB Resolution No. 09-2020.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                           <\/p>\n

                          1. The Department of Education Bids and Awards Committee <\/em>reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with Sections 35.6 and 41 of the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of RA No. 9184, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
